Plastic and cosmetic burn surgery in our hospital was founded in 1998. It is an early medical institution in northeast Sichuan to carry out comprehensive treatment of burns, wound repair, plastic surgery and cosmetology. It is the affiliated unit of Nanchong Burn quality Control Center, the Burn discipline Alliance unit of West China Hospital of Sichuan University, and the construction and training unit of wound repair specialty in China. There are equipping with 53 hospital beds and there are plastic and cosmetic burn diagnosis room, scar diagnosis room, wound diagnosis room, wound care clinic, cosmetic consultation room, photoelectric treatment room, wound treatment room and plastic surgery operating room. At present, there are 3 professors, 1 associate professor, 1 doctor, 2 doctorates, 12 masters, 3 postgraduate supervisors and 1 high-level overseas student. There are 22 nurses, including 1 deputy chief nurse, 5 chief nurses, 14 nurses, 2 nurses, 1 master of nursing, 4 wound therapists, including 1 international wound therapist and 2 cosmetic therapists. The department carries out burn treatment, repair of various acute and chronic wounds, excision and repair of body surface soft tissue tumors, various plastic surgery, comprehensive treatment of scar, facial rejuvenation treatment, photoelectricity cosmetic therapy, injection cosmetology, microneedle waterlight therapy, embroidery cosmetology and other projects. At present, our department has developed into a comprehensive plastic and cosmetic burn treatment center with advanced equipment and strong technical force in northeast Sichuan. The department has all kinds of medical equipment of international advanced level, such as MEEK skin grafting machine. Israel Feidon big Q laser, carbon dioxide lattice laser, plasma scar therapy, BodyTite gold microneedle platform, A8 laughing gas analgesia device, pneumatic liposuction device, gold micro-carving radiofrequency lipolysis platform, laser pouch surgery apparatus, needle-free hydrodynamic debridement system, ultrasonic debridement instrument, infrared burn therapeutic instrument, domestic top embroidery equipment.
